Hi There,
My Samsung L100 camera has full battery power but when i turn it on it beeps and turns off within 3 seconds, Sometimes it will display the last photo image taken, other times nothing will show on the screen at all, last night it displayed the last image with 'Standby' at the bottom. I have tried changing the mode using the dial at the top of the camera, but this doesnt seem to change a thing!
Your advise or some tips to adjust this problem would be greatly appriciated.
Have a good day,
Krista
Are you absolutely sure the battery is good? Do you have a battery eliminator that you can plug into camera to double check? Do you have another battery you can throw in there ? Is the memory chip ok? A corrupted chip can sometimes shut down a camera.
If unit still does this with a known, confirmed, good power supply, then the electronics are at issue and given the high cost of proprietary parts and labor, a repair might not be cost effective.

My i85 camera's lcd no longer displays what you are looking at. Just a black screen. All the menu items are there and working. The battery is charged. The power button is working as well as the lens open, but no image is available just a black screen. When I I try to take pic is showed very low light but doen't show image of pic taken when I check. Please advise. This a brand new camera and was taken excellent pic as of this friday. [email protected] Mr.Tracy Johnson

If the lens is retracted, hold up the camera to your eye and look at the lens. If you see one end sticking out a little bit, push that side in and press the power button. It should work.
If the lens isn't retracted, push the lens around until it is in its regular position. When you press the power button, it will retract and come out again and should work fine.
Hope this advice helps!
