Playback is not smooth

Hi, this could be because of wifi network congestion.

  1. Try a lower resolution video and see if has the same effect.
  2. Disable wifi on other devices that use the same network to limit activity on the network.

MY PC AUDIO IS NOT COMEING

Is the right audio playback device set as default.
HDMI output and USB microphones can sometimes change these and not put it back when you unplug them.
Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray or co to sound in control panel and change the default playback device to your main soundcard.
If you still have a problem, check device manager for missing drivers

INPORT Installed, Sound Disappears

The Xitel site http://www.xitel.com/USA/support_inport.htm says when this happens, " 1. Go to START -> CONTROL PANEL -> SOUNDS AND MULTIMEDIA PROPERTIES -> AUDIO TAB
2. Make sure that in the Audio tab your soundcard appears as the Preferred Playback device with USB Audio or INport as the Preferred Recording Device. There should also be a check next to the option 'use only preferred device'.
3. When you start LPRecorder you should also make sure that Recording Device is set to USB Device or INport and Playback Device is set as your soundcard and that there is a check next to the option Simultaneous Playback."

I have a philips DVD home theatre system HTS8100. Its fine except that NO dvds play in synch. I have checked them on my normal DVD player & they are fine. The synch button on the remote sometimes fixes...

Synch problems on Philips machines can be caused by the video output setting.

Usually there are 3 options for video output:
  • PAL
  • NTSC
  • AUTO
PAL & NTSC force playback in that setting, regardless of DVD format, and sometimes cause a time delay in the conversion.

Try changing this option to AUTO. IF you have a modern TV, it should allow both PAL & NTSC playback.
