The 5 digits I gave identify the radio on the front. The serial number is 208033. Model # 86120-33100. I haven't tried any numbers on the radio. Sometimes if you don't give the right code it will shut off completely after a few tries so I don't want to waste them.

Ya I checked them out already. Thanks, but I was trying to get around the fee. I'm an installer and have had people wanting their factory equipment reinstalled. The dealerships usually just give me the codes I need, but apparently they have to actually call Toyota for the info. Oh well. Thanks for the quick response anyway

2008 corolla radio showing HELP

This occurs if the radio's security system detects a power loss. This is in case the radio is stolen, but will also occur if the car battery is disconnected for service or replacement. You need to use the appropriate unlock procedure and code for the radio. This procedure should be in the user's manual or you can get it from the dealer. They vary from device to device and year to year. The code will also vary. IT should have been provided in the documentation for the vehicle, but may be lost. You might need the serial number or model number of the radio to get the unlock code. Some manufacturers require an affidavit of ownership to limit their liability before providing a code.

I have a 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster, and I need the radio code for it. I believe the SN to be Y9611281

Hi, you will need both the vin and serial number of the radio t get the code, Write them down.

Locate your VIN number at the base of the front window, driver side. If you can't read your VIN off the window, you will have it on your proof of insurance and title as well. Write it down.
Locate your manufacture's toll free Customer Service number and call them. I called Mitsubishi at 1-888-MITSU2009 to get my code and they were very helpful and easy to work with. Some other manufacture's 800 numbers include:
Acura 1-800-382-2238, Audi 1-800-367-2837, BMW 1-800-831-1117, GMC 1-800-462-8782, Honda 1-800-999-1009, Isuzu 1-800-255-6727, Mazda 1-800-222-5500, Nissan 1-800-647-7263, Saab 1-800-582-7222, Saturn 1-800-553-6000, Toyota 1-800-311-4331, Volvo 1-800-458-1552.

My Toyotas battery went flat so now the radio is not working, it is displaying "SEC". I need to put in a 3 digit code. I do not know what the previous/old code is, so that I can cancel it and...

This is a security code that is specific to that radio for anti-theft reasons it comes up every time that radio loses power. It should be written in your manual or there should be a radio card that you received with the car that has the code on it. If you can't find this you're going to have to pull out the radio and get the serial number off of it and contact the toyota dealership for the security code.

Need Toyota radio security code

Oribeeboy is spot on for a 100 series Landcruiser - last 3 VIN numbers.
Let's say the last 3 VIN Nos were 264
Turn the ignition key so that the radio displays "SEC"
then: press "TUNE"and press No1 button on the radio at same time
then: press No1 button 2 times
then: press No2 button 6 times
then press No3 button 4 times
Finally hold the "SCAN" button to confirm the code. The radio will then turn itself off. You can then turn it on in the normal way.
