Question about Garmin GPS
The download should cover the whole US territory. Probably your problem is the result of a bad map file, and only few States had been installed.
You need to contact Garmin and ask a new download for the maps you payed for.

Note: Garmin, same as its competitor is continuously fixing bugs related to the map updates.The only way to find out if there is a problem related to your download is by contacting them.
