Question about Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
My DC 14 Animal Dyson makes a whistling sound when it is running- it still picks up but the noise isn't right and bothers me- what could be wrong. I just bought a new canister for it- and clean it after every use.
Bearings in the brushroll might be siezing.
If you start snapping belts, change the brushroll.

Testimonial: "Thank you for the feedback!! I think it is about time to replace the brushroll anyway- it is 6 years old and has had alot of use. "
Maybe because it doesn't know the words so it just plains whistles
BAD PUN I KNOW
You may have a piece of paper stuck inside the debrie chuck causing this whistle
