Your UMD drive is probably worn out. Try to take a cotton swab put a little distilled water on it. look for the UMD laser and gently clean it off. Also try to move it to the outside.
If this does not work you can get a new one on ebay for a decent price.Let me know if this works or if you want to get a new drive.
