I recently moved and since it has been hooked up again my kenmore tumble action washer is leaking all of the drain water through the bottom of the wash machine. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I checked the hose and removed a lot of change from the rubber assembly inside. I thought I may have had the problem fixed but the water is actually leaking from the door during the rinse cycle. Any suggestions?

You will need to check the drain hose under this unit. It may have cracks or something has gotton inside of it chaffing the hose to leak

The shaking could be due to a defective drum support bearing. The shaking also could have caused the door seal to fail, resulting in the leak.

most likely you have a sock or, some cloth obstructing the pump.
you will have to bail out the water then: remove the Sears 700 series 4screws holding the washer's control panel and, remove the washer side clips under the panel to remove the washer's sides then remove the 8 pump screws to remove the pump face and, remove the obstruction. the

My kenmore front load tumble action washer will not not spin and drain water, it also appers to be water at the bottom of the machine

If the brain senses water in the floor then the machine will shut down. You have to remove the water, and find the leak. The moister sensor keeps your home from flooding should the tub get a terrible leak from a ruptured hose etc. You mission should you decide to accept it Mr phelps is to locate said leak and eliminate it before you have nasty clothes up the kazoo. Kenmore washer leak

With the machine unplugged and EMPTY disconnect the water and waster water connection from the wall and tip it forward you should then be able to access the pump.  Check the hoses running to the pump. (usually white plastic with 2 large and 1 small hose running to it.. you can also just move it away from the wall with it completely connected and run it thru a cycle to see where it is leaking from.

no thats two different problems. The rubber piece (boot) forms a seal to prevent the water from leaking out, that should be replaced. Water might have leaked and ruined the pump. At the end of all cycles is there still water in the tub? If so your pump is either clogged or has gone bad, and thats why the washer wont go into extract.

Snaggs, If your model number begins with 417 it could be a couple of issues. Start with the drain pump. Remove the bottom panel and see if the pump is clogged with coins or debris. It will be on the right. Check the pump impeller. Have a bunch of towells handy as you will have a lot of water coming out at you. When you drop the bottom panel you will be able to see if the belt is on in back. If this does not clear up the problem, more than likley it will be in the motor control board. Catriver...post back.
