Replace the spark plug if not done so as of yet. This is required every year on air cooled engines
Also drain the float bowl of sediments. if the new plug did not help you out very much
Carburetor cleaner spayed in to the needle and seat area will help immensely

No adjustments. Automatic governor. Replace spark plug. Ensure blade is sharp and oil is full. 30w oil. Always put Stabile in gas. When you remove spark plug pull rope several times to blowout cylinder. Spray a little WD40 in spark plug hole, then pull rope several times. Spray starting fluid in spark plug hole, replace plug, ensure plug wire snaps on tight. Clean replace air filter.

Poulan pro 625 lawn mower idles slow and rough

Try changing your plug and check gap and put in some fresh fuel. Empty out the old stuff especially if it has been there a while. Also check your low idle setting on the carb open it up a half turn for starters. Good Luck...

Engine starts. Idles rough then dies. sparkplugs being fouled in one use.

Sounds to me as thought their is either a fuel problem (needs carburetor rebuilt/readjusted) or a considerable amount of oil is getting into the combustion chamber. I would tend to lean towards the fuel system. Have you run any fuel system cleaner thru it?
