I am tryin to retighten my moen single faucet

I am tryint to retighten my moen single faucet (the part under the ball assembly) and I am unable to tighten past a certain point and wondering why it keeps getting jammed (not cross threaded). Is there a specific way to line up the parts?

The plastic collar that sits on the ball has locating tabs and the v in the middle should point to you.

The ball also has a slot that locates a pin in the body of the faucet to stop the ball spinning arround.

I have a Moen single lever bathroom faucet which is leaking. It has two screws on the under side of the throat. When I remove the screws the plate does not come off easily and I do not want to bend it out...

i would like to help you w/this but i need some information first: 1) do you mean the faucet is running into the sink or it's leaking from the faucet body? (or from under it) 2) do you know the model of the faucet as this will tell me whether it is a cartridge system or a ball co.ck.

Delta single lever faucet leakingafter bing shut off.

Will need to get delta faucet rebuild kit. Available at home depot, lowes or hardware store. It consists of valve stem seals & springs. The larger kit will contain ball assembly. Turn off water to faucet. Unscrew handle via set screw under plastic cap. Unthread cap over ball assembly. Pry out valve seals & springs. Reverse procedure to install.

Im tryin to remove the ball stem #212 off my faucet?

Remove handle and on top it has a cap that has to be removed to access the ball it will require maybe a strap wrench or chanel locks with something on teeth to keep it from damaging top cap.

Remove cap and it will give you access to ball turn .

Moen - Single lever bath tub faucet - cold water only

moen does not have a ball and washers....sounds like a Delta maybe. Moen uses cartridges. Either way sounds like a balancing spool problem....but you will need to make sure of the right name for the faucet to get the parts.

Moen kitchen faucet. I changed the cartridge but

Single or dual lever? A new ball if single lever. Home Depot or Menards will carry them. Teflon tape if dual cartridge. Stay away from moving parts
