My Kitchenaid Superba oven doesn't beep

My Kitchenaid Superba oven used to beep whenever the buttons were pushed and when it hit the right temp. Now it only beeps when it hits the right temp. There isn't even an audible beep when the timer ends. Any suggestions?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Sorry, I have the same oven and the same complaint. The manual doesn't indicate anything. BTW- the service manual is inside the oven frame, between oven "lining" and the outside sheet metal.

SOURCE: I have a KitchenAid Double

Hi,
Your oven is asking for you to insert and set your prob, Have you used this feature before? If not your circuit to the prob has failed and will need to be either replace or removed to use your oven again. The control is looking for the prob and for some reason does not see it or wants you to give your control the proper command to continue. If you are using your prob, enter the correct temperature for the product your cooking and then continue with the control boards request for information. I you have never selected this feature, the circuit has failed and thinks you have. At this point you can order a new prob harness, or remove the circuit to cook.
Good Luck

Just got error code "fe02"

Hello,

The F2-E0 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F2-E0 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced . GENE

Kitchenaid Superba walloven/microwave - problem with big oven.

I lost power and had the same problem. 177 degrees and ERR whenever I tried to change it. Reading the manual, I noticed that it was showing the degree symbol instead of F. When you hold down the broil/maxi/econo button for five seconds, it changes to F and then it worked perfectly. Makes no sense, but worked without any repairs needed.

How do I use the thermometer in my Kitchenaid Superba?

I found the answer by checking the Kitchenaid website to find the manual. My model is KEMS308sss04, this is found on the right door frame. Website is: http://shop.kitchenaid.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%20W10162223.pdf
You can preheat oven, but then turn off to set thermometer. Put probe in food. Put food in oven and plug in probe. The digital light asks for the temperature you want, type it in. Then the cooking method. I used convection bake at 325. Hit START. (The first time I didn't stop the oven and it didn't work. After stopping everything and starting with the probe before turning on the oven, it worked perfectly. Good Luck.

KitchenAid Superba double oven: can't set clock.

If you turn the center knob (marked 'time') to the right, it sets the timer; but if you turn it sufficiently far to the left, it goes into clock set mode. When you get to the correct time, press start.

Hit the options button and check that the "Sabbath mode" setting is off. I note that October 20th was a Tuesday but the internal clock year could be incorrect.
