Question about Saeco Royal Professional Espresso Machine

No Cappuccinatore or Steam and Loud Bang!

I recently descaled and was having problems with the cappuccinatore working - there was steam on the wand but nothing coming out of the cappuccinatore device. I was trying some suggestions mentioned on this site already and heard a loud bang! Now the steam is not working either and I had some water leaking out of the bottom of the machine. I am afraid I have made the situation worse! Any help???

The steam is ariving to the steam wand with a thin teflon pipe which is conected to a easy clip on union. So probably by the presure of the steam in the pipe since the capucinatote was gogled the pipe have been came out from the union so the steam is leaking in the machine. Be carefull not work the steam since the water in the machine can make an electrical short and damage the machine completly. Now in order to fix the problem first you must remove the top and side panel in order to connect back the steam pipe to the wand union and second to clean the capucinatore by complitly desasemble it put it in special detergent and leave it fro some our so any dirt will be removed more easily and by a good visual inspection you can see that all holes are cleaned from any dry milk.

Does water come out of the wand when you press the hot water button (top left)? Try ventilating and descaling the machine. More details about each can be easily found by googling.

Cappuccinatore does not draw milk

Hi
There should be a little knob on top of the cappuccinatore. It is what causes the milk to flow up the tube. When it is steaming, rotate the knob slowly until the milk starts to flow up the tube. You can fine tune the knob to get the best foam.
If you are missing the pin that has the knob on it, there will be a small hole in the outside top of the cappuccinatore. If you don't have hole and a knob, it is broken off and you need to replace the cappuccinatore

Saeco cappuccinatore not taking milk, instead blowing some steam into milk

Try this, the valve diagram shows that you twist the knob, but you left it up and down to adjust the flow. You could also check that the container you have the milk in, is lower in height than the cappuccinatore to help it siffin the milk up from its container. Make sure the cappuccinatore is fitted correctly pushed in fully and half fill a cup with milk and pull the valve adjuster up a small amount and push the button. It should start pushing steam out the cappuccinatore and then within a few seconds it should start siffining milk up the tube.

Capucinatore problem

I had same problem. You may need to descale first and if still a problem the steam valve may be clogged. First make sure the cappuccinatore lines are clean). If steam valve is clogged there is a trick to get it unclogged,- by tapping steam valve to loosen it up- but suggest contact Saeco USA Inc. to located a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : outlet@saeco-usa.com
