There probably are none installed. You have to install them by yourself. Go to your local HVAC wholesaler and ask for an insta-tap. These work very well on rv and window ac units.

It sounds like it is the start cap on the compressor and no you can't add refrigerant to it the can you have is 134a and the fittings are not the same

I HAVE DOMETIC DUO-THERM PENGUIN ROOF AIR CONDITIONING ON RV. THE UNIT WILL RUN WHEN PLUGGED INTO ELECTRICITY BUT WHEN GENERATOR POWERED THE AC UNIT KILLS THE GENERATOR ENGINE. WHAT COULD IT BE?

What size & type generator? On start up the AC unit can draw as much as 17-18 amps in some cases, and if your generator is not designed for a quick draw like that it will die.

Penguin RV air conditioner does not power on. Have 120 volts to the air conditioning unit. When I turn on power switch to unit nothing come on.

Check on the cut off relay connected to the compressor. Also check if the capacitor to the motor is faulty. You can test for power to the relay and the resistancce of the compressor motor coils to make sure that the motor is intact. if not one of the above is faulty.
replace and test.

Dometic roof top rv airconditioner is not pulling any water out of the air based on condensate run-off. Is this a sign of low coolant? If so - are these types of air conditioners equiped to be re-charged...

The system is not equipped to be recharged. However there are several options to add a service port to the system. If you are staying cool there is probably no need to add refrigerant.

I would think your RV repairman could add refrigerant. Any heat and air company could do this for you. The unit does not have service valves in it and a port will need to be added. I have seen these units 30 years old and still holding the original charge. It is impossible to say how long it will last. If you need to add refrigerant more than once a year you have a serious leak that needs repaired.

How to put refrigerant in Demotic RV Rooftop Air Conditioner

You will need to add a self tapping port to the suction side of the unit. You will have to determine what the size of the pipe is and then go to a local a/c supply company and buy one. It's kind of like a self tapping supply for water but for high pressure. Hope this helps. I would also put one in on the high side as well so you don't blow the valve in the compressor if you over charge it or the system is dirty.
