Hi. Open Bluetooth Manager from the control Panel and click add a device.

If you're using a bluetooth mouse, press the connect button underneath the mouse and wait until it appears on the box then click add and follow the instructions. You can do this as well with your other bluetooth devices.

Good Luck! ^_^

1. Are you sure this device has bluetooth? If yes, go to #2. If you don't know, look up the EXACT model at hp.com and look.

2. Open up Control Panel and make sure it's not disabled.

3. Go to hp.com, locate your exact model, and download and install the current bluetooth drivers.

If that doesn't work, uninstall the bluetooth drivers, and reinstall it.

I cant open the bluetooth of my lenovo idea pad S-10 plz let me know how to open

There should be a switch just above the keyboard to turn wireless/bluetooth on or off. Make sure this is turned on first. Once you have the bluetooth controller turned on, click on the start icon and open Control Panel. Find and open 'Devices and Printers'. Click 'Add a Device' and follow the instructions to pair your bluetooth device with your PC.
    I hope this helps!

    hi

  • Open your computer's Control Panel center to access your Bluetooth Device settings. Click on the Windows icon or the "Start" icon on your computer desktop's taskbar at the bottom of the screen. When the pop-up menu opens, click on the "Control Panel" link.
  • Step 2 Access your Bluetooth Device settings. When the Control Panel opens, click on the settings link that reads, "Bluetooth Devices." This link will display all of the possible actions and settings you can take regarding your laptop'smag-glass_10x10.gif Bluetooth technology.
  • Step 3 Configure your laptop's Bluetooth technology. Select the "Start the Bluetooth Device" action. The blue and white Bluetooth icon will appear in the Windows System tray within the computer desktop's taskbar.
  • Step 4 Network with another device in order to import and export files. Double-click on the blue and white Bluetooth icon on your computer desktop's taskbar. A Bluetooth dialog window will appear on your screen displaying your Bluetooth technology portal. Click on the "Add Devices" action. You will then be asked if your laptop would like to search for other compatible devices. Click "Next" to proceed. You will be prompted to choose a passkey for the pairing. Create a simple passkey and click on the "Pair" option. When the notification is received by the other device, enter the same passkey to pair the device to your laptop.

Control panel does not show bluetooth icon. Why?

Run services.msc (which is the service management tool)
You should see a Bluetooth Support Service, set this to start and then have it automatically start with windows as well.

    Bluetooth control panel application: bthprops.cpl

Bluetooth listed in my actual control panel.

However you may need to reinstall BT again and check for the properties of it.

Please check the steps and let me know if it works.

I untentionally erased my blutooth from my dell mini inspiron and I don't know how to recover it. what shall i do?

    1. If you accidentally delete the icon from the desktop screen, then you may go to the Control Panel, right-click the Bluetooth icon > Send to > Desktop.

    2. If you completely deleted the Bluetooth under the Add or Remove program, then get the CD that came with your mini inspiron, look for the Bluetooth driver and install it to your computer.

    3. If you don't have the CD, call Dell and ask them where to download the Bluetooth driver for your inspiron.

Built-in Bluetooth adapters have different models, so you need to verify with the manufacturer about the exact model number of your Bluetooth and have a driver for it.

    Have a great day!

Have a look to see if your drivers are installed and working correctly.

    Go to start-settings---control panel---system---hardware---device manger

Open "network adaptors" and you should see a bluetooth adaptor. Click on the icon to see if the device is working correctly.
Open "ports" and there should be a lot of bluetooth ports shown

If there is no mention of bluetooth, you have lost your drivers and they need to be re-installed.

If the BT is working on your laptop there should be a blue flashing light somewhere..

Let me know what you find..

    Cheers
