I can not bring up the volume?

I was able to find the volume control & now I can not find it.

While playing, "turn" the control wheel clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the volume.

take a look at the speaker,use a multimeter see if the speaker have the rated resistance.( eg .8 ohms) if speaker bad replace if.if speaker good. see if your audio amp is getting power (multimeter needed) set to d.c volts.have voltage then look for the input pin that brings audio into the amp,use a 16 -32 ohms speaker across gnd pin and input pin(bring volume up hi on tv) if audio replace audio amp.
(also look for cold solder) on p.c board before replacing amp.

I have an audiovox dv7300 surround sound. When i turn the device on, the volume automatically climbs up to 50 which is the max. The volume knob will not bring the volume back down and the remote can bring...


1) retight the springs contacts batteries with pliers for a better contacts
2) open the r.control and clean the keypads very well from dirty, oxide, and bad contacts, with contacts cleaner.
3) otherwise you must go to the repair shop TV.

1 channel of amp sux520d cuts out ,if you turn up the volume it brings it back i susspect this is due to a dry joint some where but not sure where to look on board any ideas please


take the cover off and use some wd40 and spray the volume control to clean out the dust buildup.. also it wouldnt hurt to get the other controls while you are at it... good luck..

Cant control my bass


If you go to the control panel and click on sounds. Then click on the advanced button which should bring up your volume control. then click advanced again and you should see a bass controll there.
