Get real close to screen and maybe use a flash light to shine on the screen and see if you can see the picture still, it will be dark and almost not visible but you should notice something move. If your screen has picture then you most likely have a back light problem. Most common problems are bad inverters, or the inverter controller card. possibly a bad power supply but most likely inverters, test each circuit, replace as needed.
This is a problem with shutter not fast enough opening to take a picture indoor shows the horizontal lines. In sun light it is too slow and over expose the picture. Not worth the trouble to fix, buy another camera?
turn the black ring that is around the len's while your cam is on and you can see a picture. ...the black ring will focus your lens. turn till you get a clear picture...turn either one way or the other till picture clears up
