Thanks, this may be the solution I need, but the print is so small I can't read it. I tried enlarging it, but it then is too blurry. Is there a way to make each page a separate 8x11 piece of paper so it is legible?

Plugged in but no juice getting through. Unit appears dead.

Most line voltage transformers have an internal fuse that isn't replaceable... You can measure the line input resistance with a meter to see if that's the problem.

You can go to intermatic.com once you are on there page do a search for your model number, and from there you can download your instructions. Sorry that I could not given you more detailed instructions but with no model number this was as close as I could get you. Good luck!

The timer does not keep accurate time. How to fix?

Hi being these spend most of their life outdoors these tend to accumulate dust and debris inside the mechanism.

Also as moisture corrodes the internal parts they start to fail after a short while.

Couple of solutions use an external timer (pull the set pins out of the onboard timer) or replace the unit.

I recommend making sure that the timer is located somewhere where it is protected such as on or under a porch or deck, where its not getting wet all teh time.

also might be time to upgrade to a 300 or 600 watt unit?

Power at 3 feet, not at 2 feet ???

You might need to check the power source for proper voltage, sometimes outdoor wiring is at the mercy of the elements. Rusty screws on recepticles and so forth. Another problem could be exposed wire in the line bleeding of to ground. Sometimes this happens if a fixture is removed and the wire not properly protected. If these are none of your problems just take up your fixtures and replace the wire. 16 guage underground feed will probably be less expensive than the transformer you bought.

Hampton bay ceiling fan

You can probably find outdoor blades at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

There are ways to reduce the warping of indoor blades, but it's too much for most people. I'd suggest replacing them.

You could also surf the net for Hampton Bay stuff -- might be able to find them there, too.

I have a Hampton Bay 300W transformer. I've attached a 12V bulb to it in the low voltage ports. the LED is covered and the unit is in the on position. About every ten seconds the units flashes the light,...

the Hampton Bay 300W transformer requires that at least a 20 watt load for it to function. If you only have one bulb, say a 10 or 15 watt to test it, it wont work - sounds crazy, I know.

If you have an installation brochure it's under "Important Safety Feature". The first sentence reads "In order for this Transformer to operate, a minimum load of 20 watts MUST be installed before plugging the Transformer into the electrical outlet.

Hope that's it - by the way, these transformers can emit a high pitch when running - not sure why, but it's a common complaint.
