Question about Visual Land V-Touch Digital Media Player

1 Answer

I can't turn on my V-Touch: I have to plug it in the charger everytime and as soon as I unplug it, it turns off and won't turn on. The battery icon in the corner says the device is fully charged. Plus, the rare times I get it to work without being plugged to the charger, it turns off suddenly and freezes like that. I received the V-Touch for Christmas, in 2008.

This problem is due to a bad battery. All rechargeable battery have a charging limit of upto 1000-3000 charges, after that it will loose its ability to get charged, so you will have to replace the battery.

Wheelchair won't stay on unless its plugged in and as soon as its unplugged it turns off

Replace the batteries. Your charger is probably supplying the needed power to turn on the chair and when you unplug the charger, your batteries are not able to supply enough power to keep the chair on.

Motorola cellular w376g, battery won't charge

If possible test with another charger like a car charger if you have one
also try removing the battery plug in the charger and put the battery back in (don't touch the contacts/gold pins)

if it works with other chargers then the charger is bad

if it doesn't work with other chargers charging port/battery/phone is bad

Ifthe rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

My ipod will not turn on and has been charged

With the charger plugged in and turned on, try re-setting the iPod touch by holding down the button on the top and the button on the front together for 10 seconds or so. If the Apple symbol comes up it is going through the re-set / re-start process. If this doesn't happen it is likely dead. If it dies as soon as you unplug the charger the battery is dead.
