Yes you can! You can order a new receiver direct from Logitech for around $10. Start here:

SOURCE: Unresponsive mouse XP unable to initialize device driver for Logitech LX8 laser mouse

Your best course of action would be to use System Restore, based on your response above. Go back to the point where everything worked for you and don't attempt to update your driver again. If it works, don't fix it.

After that if there was something you wanted to accomplish, let us know and we can help you.

SOURCE: Laser mouse just quit working (red light is no

Sounds like you simply need to replace it as they are pretty finaky to fix. If it was dropped or jarred it may have dislogged the laster out of its holding spot in the mouse. But honestly it probally better off to just replace it.

SOURCE: MX600 Logitech laser cordless mouse, left button stops working

Just found a temporary solution (fixes the immediate problem, but it does return):

Turned the mouse off held down both buttons, turned it on, let go of both buttons. When you let go, it works again.

I lost the usb receiver for my Logitech Cordless Optical mouse, how do I set it up?

I think you are going to have to purchase another receiver. I believe they make a universal receiver that will run all your Logitech devices. You will have to have a receiver for the mouse to work, as far as I know there is no way around that.

It's possible the Firefly remote is interfering. It's also possible the mouse is going bad (G7s have been around for a while). I'd contact Logitech and see what they can do for you - their warranty support for mice is terrific.

receiver first one second and release then mouse, one second and release. then push button on receiver for one second again and release and push the red button on the bottom of the keyboard. if mouse does not connect call logitech receiver may be bad if the mouse connects but the keyboard does not try procedure one more time. if keyboard fails to connect again. call logitech. you have a 5 year warranty on all non gaming keyboards.

Wireless laser mouse stopped working. KB OK. Tried Everything

Hi,
Under the mouse near the optical lens there should be a small connect button, press that and the button on the receiver too.
Also make sure the batteries in the mouse are new or fully charged.

Good luck

Mouse not working

Did you check to ensure the batteries are good.
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
