Could be a few things, First, you say it's getting fuel, but is the fuel fresh? It may have water in it and act like your engine. Did this problem just start happening? Did you happen to ride over something that may have sheared the key on the flywheel? This would throw the timing off on the engine. If you can try to start it while spraying gas into the carb throat and it keeps running, then it could just be a dirty caburetor or a misadjusted carb float. Good luck, Bill

SOURCE: I have a husqvarna lawn
Remove the blades first. Drive the unit up on two ramps - one ramp for each side of the mower. This allows you a look from the bottom up. Firs look for some small wire rope that might have some how gotten lodged in there. Also check the clutch switch to be sure the machine thinks all your safety relays are engaged. This is important. Check to see if the blades will spin a little AFTER you take off the plug wires and BEFORE you remove the blades. This is very dangerous if you leave the plug wires on as on occasion this can result in death if the unit cranks up and it does indeed happen. If the unit spins a little - you may find you need a spindle or two. You can remove the deck as the easiest way to get this done. I highly recommend removing the deck at this point and give it the once over - even check the belt and also check to be sure the blades are perfectly level. I am fairly sure that once you remove the deck you will find a bad spindle / bearing.
Let me know of your progress
