Hello Gary, welcome to Fixya. Based on the info you've provided, the dishwasher is indicating a error during the "fill" stage, hence the "F" being displayed on the shu43 series machines. Here's how to perform a test or diagnostic. Make sure the power button is in the off position ( open & closing of the door will activate the "auto shut off" ). Once certain it is "off" press and hold both the regular button and rinse & hold button, then turn the unit "on" while continuing to depress those 2 buttons. Initially, control module version # will display ( i.e. "20" = version "0" without jumper...not important for this ). When the buttons are now released, the lights above them will flash. To start testing, press both the "regular wash" and "rinse & hold" a second time. Let the test follow through. Whentestimg has ended, the display will show an error using codes as follows. "0" = no error. "1" = aqua sensor fault. "2" = heating fault. "4" = filling fault. and finally, "8" = NTC ( temperature sensor ) fault. The "F" code will not appear in test mode, only during wash. If you have a failed level switch the test will display "4" and will continually fill and drain and test won't complete, until you press the "on/off" button. If the test complete's without and error or won't fill, replace the water valve. Part # 1105846 at "repairclinic.com" or you can check locally by your model number & serial number. Let me know if I can assist you further. Hope you found this helpful and if so please allow for a positive rating. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Bosch dishwasher I have a shx36l06uc and my front door lettering got erase. Anyone have a picture or a manual that tells me what each button means

Try going to a lot of new and used appliance stores and copying one like yours, or look at peoples dishwashers when you visit their house and copy their lettering.
God bless your efforts.

How can I reset our dishwasher

Open the dishwasher door sufficiently to see the control buttons, then hold the two buttons with labels "Cancel Drain" and press for 3 seconds.
Close the door. Wait nearly 1 minute for the dishwasher to complete the cycle.
Open the door and hold the "ON/OFF" toggle.

Reset Bosch Ascenta Dishwashers
Shut off the child lock if needed by pressing and holding "Open the door far enough to see the keys, then hold the "START RESET" toggle until the "ACTIVE" LED become extinguished. On the SHE5AM model of Bosch Dishwashers, hold the "START RESET" key until the display clock shows "0:01".
Close the door and rest about 60 seconds. On the SHE5AM, wait until the display clock displays "0:00".
Open the door and hold the "ON/OFF" toggle.

Bosch silence plus 50 dba has error code h01

The statement below can be found at: http://www.ehow.com/list_6978265_bosch-dishwasher-error-codes.html,

The SHU4326 and 4326 models use "Regular Wash" and "Rinse Hold" to begin the test while the other three series in this section use "Scrub Wash" and "Delicate/Econo," but all use the same set of fault codes, shown not as lights but as numbers on the Cycle Countdown display. Here, 1 is an aqua sensor fault, 2 is a heating fault, 4 is a filling fault, 8 is an NTC fault and 0 means that everything is working as it ought. During an actual wash, when you aren't testing, the Cycle Countdown display may show the letter "F," which also signifies a filling fault.

Letter F appears on screen, and dishwasher does not start. Sounds like pump runs for a bit then stops. Door is closed. What is wrong?.

Hi

Error code F indicates that dishwasher control has detected a fault with dishwasher filling. This is due to faulty water inlet valve. Please check for clogged water inlet valve. Water inlet valve part#35

My bosch dw gives a error code of 1 this is an over or under water filling fault not a heating error which is posted on this site which one is correct

Hello, welcome to Fixya. Actually an error code "1" refers ONLY to a heating error. I'm not sure what you've based your info on, but "1" being displayed has nothibg to do with a water fill/level issue what-so-ever with any Bosch dishwashers. Here's how to perform a test or diagnostic for the "shu43" series Bosch to determine once and for all the problem you're having though. When testing has ended, the display will show an error using codes as follows. "0" = no error. "1" = aqua sensor fault. "2" = heating fault. "4" = filling fault. and finally, "8" = NTC ( temperature sensor ) fault. If it where related to a fill/level error you would see the letter "F" during washing but the # 4 in diagnostic's. Similarly for a heating fault, the diagnostic will identify a #2 but the "1" appears during normal washing. Let me know if I can assist you further. Hope you found this helpful and if so please allow for a positive rating. If there is anything not clear let me know and I'll try to expand on the info I posted. Good luck. Macmarkus :)
