Question about Canon Optura Xi Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I was getting dropouts in the audio on my Canon Optura Xi. I bought a Radio Shack cleaning cassette, used it once, and now it won't read audio or video. Is there anything I can do besides take it to a shop for repair?
Dear Movie maker,
Well seeing you did have only drop-outs in sound, but did get a picture, now you have nothing.
This does look like you have moved quite a bit of the dirt within camera pic/sound heads, I did say moved (not removed) because these dry cleaning things we use today do only move dirt not get shut of it.
I think you should put that cleaner in camera again, and give it a really good run through, let me know how that goes okay?
