Hello,

does your air condition timer remote?

if the the answer to this is YES what you will have to fix up the problem is to check on the time program on the air condition reprogram the time program on the system and put it OFF for some time and put it on again but if the remain you will then you will have to follow the below explanation

But if the answer is NO then is an indication of a temperature sensor error. There is a chance that there is a loose wire connection on the temperature.

what you will have to do from here is to put OFF the air condition unscrew it then trace wire down to the fan locate the loose wire then put back at the position and also do general clean up over it

thank you and than for using fixya.

How to stop my Frigidaire 15,100 BTU from beeping

Hello Naomi - Thank you for your question. When the air conditioner is beeping, it may be a warning sign that the filter needs to be clean or that you need to reset the unit. The LED (light) will illuminate and beep after 250 hours of operation. After cleaning the filter, you may reset the "FILTER RESET" option by simply pressing and holding down the button for approximately twenty seconds and the light/beeping will go off. However, if you have done this, try pressing the "RESET" button on the GFI plug of the unit. Wait approximately 2-3 minutes and then turn on the air conditioner. If issue persists, then at this point I would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer directly to see if you have any limited warranty on the appliance or you may alternatively, visit the manufacturer website for a comprehensive listing of appliance techs in your area.

I have a Mitsubishi air con that has broken down like this twice because gecko's have gotten in and shorted it out. We had to have the circuits replaced at $1000 a pop. I think it can short out after a lightning storm too.

My a110l airconditioner is turned off but it beeps 3 times every 15 to 20 seconds. How do I turn it off?

If the unit is disconnected from the power point (wall socket), then I would suggest the unit has a battery inside (eg. to maintain the time if it has a clock). Most electronic items emit a beeping sound when the battery is low. You would need to find instructions for your unit (try google), or have a good look for a small panel to open which may contain a battery (ensure the unit is unplugged before poking around).

My Sunpentown WA-1210E airconditioner stopped working. It emitted several beeps and the power light is blinking continuously. When I unplug, wait a few minutes and replug in the unit, it shows the same...

Have you checked the water container in the unit? It has a float switch that when it is full it will not allow the unit to run so that it will avoid spilling water on to the floor. Hope this helps 2rns4u <*{{{>(

Centrex airconditioner

I bought a house with one already installed. Found that it isn't switching from 'hot' to 'cold' After time the unit will beep and flash LED's on the unit itself and then switch off. Rather handy on 40 degree days. Good luck sourcing parts for the unit as the company have gone bust. I do know an honest working fellow that installs units - he suggests that Kelvernator are a no go, Mitsubishi, Panasonic are the ones to look at. Pay the extra cash for a brand name, they're less likely to go bust for a start, and if there is a problem, parts are readily available.
