You didnt install the drivers for audio. You should install the drivers in the cd given with the motherboard.

The above links have all your required drivers. If you have lost your cds you can download from here. Audio drivers are at the botom of that link.

You should install all motherboard drivers for your system to work

No sound

Try to install or update drivers for your sound device. Go to My Computer, then right click, select Properties, click it, go to Device Manager, select speaker icon with sound, video and game controllers, then look if the drivers are installed, if not installed, try to install using your cd installer or you can update the drivers via online. If the drivers are installed, look at the screen, look at the speaker icon located the right bottommost portion, click the speaker, see to it that it is adjusted well and not in mute mode. I just hope that these infos help u. Thanks.

No sound device

It's clear that you haven't installed Sound Driver for your sound card. If you have the motherboard installer Cd, put it in the Cd tray and install or else you can't do that, download the driver from the web and install it. I can't direct you to the link since the said sound card is not available, I would be better to help you if you let me know the Motherboard name, model and brand. Or if your sound card is not onboard, means you installed it on the Pci slot, then you must install the driver using the Cd that comes with the Hardware. Good luck,

Sound driver installation problem

HAVE YOU UN-INSTALLED THE PREVIOUS SOUND DRIVER BEFORE YOU TRYING TO INSTALL THIS ONE? IF NOT, AND YOU ALREADY HAVE A SOUND DRIVER INSTALLED, YOU WILL HAVE TO UN-INSTALL IT OR DISABLE IT UNTIL YOU GET THE NEW ONE INSTALLED. THEN SET THE NEW DRIVER AS YOUR DEFAULT DRIVER ONCE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.

I am not hearing any sound at all though i have increased every volume buttom

You check your system information if sound driver was installed, type dxdiag in your run command. Wait till a tool bar about your system info will appear then check your sound driver if installed. If it was not installed. you have to install a sound driver. Look at your sound card installed and download from internet any necessary sound card driver compatible to your sound card hardware and mother board. Just try this,. I have solved many computers by following this procedure.
