Hi, problem can be solved you can check for the solution ice dispenser with this link below,

ehow.com/how_5800772_fix-ice-dispenser.html.

And for the door dispenser,If you will look on the bottom of the dispenser cover you will see 2 notches on the left and right side. carefully pry the cover off using a flat tip screw driver. then you will see a white switch plate that is either held on with latches or 2 srews depending on model. once this is removed you will gain access to the dispenser door.
once you gain access I think you will find the hinges for the dispenser door are broken off. if so you will need a dispenser door repair kit form whirlpool part # 8201756 this kit includes new door and hinge repair kit. this is something you can do yourself if you are pateint and pay lose attention to detail. otherwise I would recomend a god servie company. thanks for using FixYa .

Heat from the night light will deteriorate the plastic tubing of the dispenser. Cracks in the tube will allow water to go out the side of the tube as well as in the glass you're filling. There are repair kits available from online appliance parts companys.

How do i access the ice dispencer door in the door? The door is stuck open and freezes up the dispencer.

1. Disconnect the unit from the electrical
supply and wait for 3 to 4 hrs to get ice melted.
2. Pull out and unclip the drip tray on the ice
and water dispenser compartment.
3. Remove the screws from the ice and water
dispenser compartment front panel and
turn it over. The selector switch pack and
dispenser switches are now accessible for
testing.

Whirpool side by side- opening for through door ice dispenser will not close all the way after dispencing ice. Causing condensation and loss of cool air. Any fix available?

Hi;there is a little plastic valve set up that return the ice flat. Fiddly joba and patients required so you don't brake anything else, that somethings sticks and won't allow flap to fully return. If that doesn't work, tape the flap up and open the freezer door and retrieve ice that way

FROST BUILD UP ON ICE STORAGE BIN AND INSIDE OF

Most times this is caused by the dispenser door not shutting all the way. This causes moist air to be drawn in through the opening and the moisture will freeze in that area and also cause the dispenser door to have even more problems closing. Check the door and get me your model number so I can list the parts that are most likely causing this, Thanks Sea Breeze
