My RCA D52W19 makes a sizziling sound and sparks. Where can I find the part to fix it? Do I need to replace entire circuit card aor just the part and what is the price range for this repair. Thanks

Thats a flyback a tech shop will cost between 4and5 hundred dollars to fix it or I can post a link where you can buy a new flyback for your tv for under 50 dollars and get free online tech support to do your repair its an easy repair to do takes about 25mins that chassis is famous for bad flybacks and hv splitters post me a picture of the part that sizzles cause it could be either one

I have an RCA 52 inch Model d52w19. It makes a sparking sound when turning on and I can see electricity flowing from what I think is a flyback soldier.
thats a common problem where the flyback will need to be replaced. The RCA repair kit called the 259296 flyback is the correct flyback for your model from www.tvrepairworld.com the flyback comes with installation instructions.

Sorry to give you a bad news but probably an electrolitic capacitor on the power supply section went bad. You will need to bring your TV to a repair center, hopefully is still under warranty.

The loud pop you hear is a spark gap being jumped. That might happen once an awhile naturally due to a voltage spike but if it's happening regularly chances are something needs replacing. Capacitors are prime suspects for aging, in fact when a capacitor(big one) blows it sounds just like that.

Tv turns on then turns off
you need to replace the flyback its the 259296 flyback which is available at the following link and they send free instalation instructions with detailed photos on how to do the replacement of the flyback.

Replacement screen for RCA d52w19
You will need the entire model number to see if the screen is avalible.. D52w19 + the ext number YX1 or yx2 or something like that it will be on label as model number but in smaller letters.

Was there actually power when the Television was sparking? I would suggest replacing the power module and having someone test the voltage coming out of the plug it was plugged into did it trip the breaker?
