To prevent the elimination (or accidental deletion) of files, I suggest making a copy using "exploration of devices connected to the pc." It works for me and so far is the safest I've found.

Other tips and details can find HERE

Also, here I find two videos about this:

Hope helps.

My ipod is disabled and i cant figure out how to get back on it

Hi emily broughton
If you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes.
When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod.
Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data.

How to import pictures onto my iPod Touch

<p>Music Player Apple iPod Touch can store personal photos along with music files and video. ITunes, the same program as the applications of music and movies on the iPod's controls, you can also synchronize photos stored on a computer to the internal memory of the iPod Touch. The setup process requires only a single session, then iTunes will automatically update the photos on the device when synced folder content change. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Note the location of the photos you want to import into your computer's hard drive. You can consolidate the images easier to synchronize, or create a new folder specifically for the iPod photo. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Connect the iPod Touch to the computer via the USB cable supplied with the unit, and wait for iTunes to open. If the system is running a Windows operating system without iTunes installed, you can download from the Apple website. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Click on the iPod Touch icon in the device list. Select the "Photos" tab. <br /> <p><br /> <p>4. Click the "Sync Photos" check box and drop-down menu. Click "Select Folder" and navigate to the parent folder that holds the images and click OK. You do not select a specific subdirectory. <br /> <p><br /> <p>5. Click the radio button "All Folders" to import all the photos on the parent folder, or click the "Selected folders" to select individual folders to import. The second option is chosen, place a check mark next to items in the "Folders" section. <br /> <p><br /> <p>6. Click "Apply" and wait for iTunes to the new data to synchronize with the iPod Touch. When finished, press the "eject" and unplug the device. The next time the iPod is connected to the computer updates the video library on iTunes from changes in synchronized folders. <br />

How do i delete songs of my i pod

The first way is uncheck the songs you want to delete on iTunes and then sync iTunes with ipod again, then the songs you want to delete will lose from iPod.

The second way is use leawo iTransfer to delete songs from iPod, the way is connect iPod to leawo iTransfer, then right click on the music you want to delete from iPod on leawo iTransfer to choose "Delete", then the music will be deleted soon. However, this tool can only work on Windows computer.

How can i unlock my ipod touch? i forgot my passcode.

The only thing that could make your iPod touch work again is to put it to DFU mode and restore. I have a full instruction about that to guide you step by step, making sure that you're doing the right thing.

However, that process will wipe out all the data from your iPod, you won't even be able to sync or create a back-up because iTunes does not recognize any iPod that is passcode-locked.

That is also why you need to put your iPod to DFU mode first, so that iTunes can recognize it, to by-pass the fact that it is passcode-locked. And, once its in DFU mode, the only thing that you'll be able to do is to restore, nothing else. And you have no other choice.

Click here for instruction on how to put your iPod touch to DFU mode and restore.

Syncing my new computer with my itouch.

Hey, Id be happy to help :). Actually there is a way to have all the stuff on your Ipod touch to be in your computer. Although you can't those things on your computer by syncing it because your computer obviously won't let you. What you must do is, in your itunes program on your computer select Itunes store, and on the side you will see the option to sign in, now you must sign in with your apple or aol account. Once you are signed in, just go up to the top of the Itunes program where it says File, edit, view, etc . But up there you will see the "store" tab. Click on it, and under it you will see the "check for available downloads.." option. Click on it and a history of things you got of itunes with your account will pop up . You can view this history by clicking the "purchased" tab on the side bar of your Itunes program, if you click on it it will have listed, your apps, your bible, etc and it should be ( currently ) downloading every single item under there. :) After this, it will have all the things you ever got down in Itunes on your computer/itunes library. So now you can erase your Ipod touch and then you can plug it into your computer and sync all the stuff You have on there. Although, wait and see if you computer downloads all the things you have ever gotten before you erase your Ipod. Because I don't want you to wipe out your ipod and your computer not have your apps and etc . Thanks! and I hope this helps, and Id appreciate it if you rate my solution.

Changed pc and new pc cannot work with ipod

You can download a developers version, not the final product of Songbird. It works just like itunes, but less problematic. It will allow you to "mount" the ipod as a disk, then you can save, the songs to your PC. It will ask you if you want to sync with it, just say no and you will be able to view the contents. I didnt make Songbird, I have just used it recently for the same problem. Best of Luck.
