Question about Ortho Chickweed Clover Killer Pint
Ortho 2 gallon pressure sprayer has pressure but little spray from hose. Could the hose be clogged. I cleaned the tip but no improvement.
Mix about 1/2 cup of Dawn soap and water half way in the sprayer as it might have a little oil in it from fungicide liquid or anything else with oil content that has been in the sprayer. Once you have sprayed the sprayer for about 10 min. let the soap soak in the tubing for at least a couple hours or overnight is better. Rinse out good and try spraying just water and see if it works.
Also,be sure to check for air leaking you should be able to hear it if you put your ear up close to the sprayer after pumping it. Another thing is make sure the handle is in its full locking position. On the side of the tank there is usually a little release valve be sure it's tight and if you find that it is loose and or leaking screw it out nice and easy and wrap some white plumbing tape around it and screw it back in just not to tight as you don't want to ruin the thread on it.
I hope this helps and fixes the problem without having to buy a new pressure sprayer. Good Luck!

Yes, you can use Miracle-Gro Water Soluable Plant Food in the Ortho Dial N Spray hose-end sprayer. Simply set the dial on the Dial N Spray to 4 ounces. The label rate for Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. To make 8 gallons of finished spray, measure 8 rounded tablespoons of plant food into the Dial N Spray jar and fill the jar with water. Mix thoroughly. Set the dial at 4 ounces. When you have sprayed until jar is empty, you will have applied 8 gallons of properly diluted spray. Hilary@Scotts
