Psp problem My psp turns on but it will not show the main menu........... after about 10 sec the psp will turn off by itself........ I would like to know if you could fix it and how much it would cost. If so pleases email me at [email protected] thank you

New battery needed

You can try this:

1. Goto Recovery Menu (turn off then hold R and turn on)
2. Configuration -> Use NO-UMD (Disable it)
3. Go all the way back to main menu
4. Advanced -> Advanced Configuration -> (Disable all of them)

Turn off monitor, hold down the menu button, turn the monitor back on, release the menu button after 10-20 seconds. Your Iiyama screen will now be unlocked.

Your PSP has just bricked. It may cause an error while you're upgrading your PSP or while playing the game.

Try this:
1. Pull the battery out.
2. Let it turn on while charging.
3. If your PSP LED power indicator turned on for 10-20 secs and the screen not turn on, it means you're really bricked it.
4. So what do you do?
5. You need extra PSP for making pandora battery and jigkick memory stick.

For the recovery menu turn on your psp then hold the off button until it turns off itself then let go of the off button, now hold down the right trigger and at the same time turn the psp on then you should have the recovery menu.

zidane656 i had this problem before with mine and when i got it fixed at the shop they say you need to switch it of from the main menu

pls try checking the sleep mode bec it will only allow the unit to stay on for a few sec them turn off.

Make a theme folder called

THEME

all caps

put it in the PSP folder, so the outcome will be

PSP/THEME

if when you try to turn it on it shows the green light for about 10-30 sec. then shuts off by itself it means you have a bricked PSP which you can fix by using a Pandora battery which you can make by reading some tutorials or you can buy them off ebay.
