Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
Favourite is the 1000uf/16Volt electrolytic capacitor (C806) in the middle of the PSU board. If the top of the can appears bulged then it has probably died. This can cause some thermal faults where it will operate when warm but not when cold, and accounts for some 'reluctant to start' faults. It is close to the heatsink, so use a high temperature rated replacement.

No solution sorry but i have a problem too... I usually watch my tv on "dtv" now it just went black no channel is working it automatically went to "ATV" where the channels are fuzzy and my extra channels aren't working. I tried scanning on "DTV" for all the channels but automatically scanned and defaulted back to "ATV". Does anyone know how to fix this?

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.

SOURCE: TV is Powered Up, Placed
Sounds like either a cable or a source input issue, You see most flat panels automatically scan for active source inputs and if it cant find one it will automatically go into stand by mode. I would try replacing the cable first before throwing it away. If one of the ports itself is even a problem you should have several other ports to choose from for example, HDMI, Component, SVIDEO DVI or VGA.
Hope this helps and as aways please feel free to follow up with a reply, im here to help
