I get a loud roaring noise that I thought was coming from the cooling fan

If it is coming out from the Cooling fan try this steps first. Update your BIOS go to support.dell.com > Support > for Home users > Drivers and Downloads. There would be an option there that you have to enter the service tag number of your computer then once you enter the right tag it will show you there the Driver that you can download for BIOS. Download that and update it. If the same version you should contact Dell Technical Support for further assistance or parts replacement. Good Luck. :)

Alienware aurora desktop with 525 Watt Power Supply was working fine then all of sudden started making a loud noise like it was going into overdrive or something then emitted a horrible like burning...

The switch mode power supply in the desktop computer has failed. Most likely the capacitors in the power has exploded.
You need to open the desktop computer and remove the old power supply and replace it with a new one. Take the old power supply with you to your friendly computer shop and get a replacement power supply with the same wattage or greater wattage.

My computer is making a buzzing noise the fan is working and friend told me it was probably the power supply

I would first try cleaning the computer and removing as much dust as possible from your computer. Also clean the fans, this could be the reason why your fan is working so hard. Just make sure your computer isn't turned on and not plugged in.

Loud Humming Noise from P/Supply

Yes, it is time to replace it. Open the case and make sure it is a standard size before you buy another one. Just measure length, width & height. You can put a higher wattage supply in there, it just won't have to work as hard to power your computer.
