I have tried using the photo paper and the ink is still not drying aven after about 1 hour. As it dries the printing is slowly fading off the paper.

Pixma MP210 in fact does not supprt transparent slides printing. The supported media type are: Envelopes, plain paper, card, photo paper, glossy.
I suggest one of the other supported media type modes, eventually takeing care to let the document dry up. Try photo.
If the ink does not fix on transparent prints at all, even using photo then I am afraid you will need to use a different printer on transparents acetate paper.

    Dear sir ,
I do not think using the proper transparency paper, this because unfortunately MP210 does not support transparents, therefore there is no transparency paper prescribed for mp210 in her specs (check your manual and settings, no transparents). Do not you think there must be a reason why you do not get transparent paper settings in any place in your printer settings, not either in the manual?

You simply need to get a printer that supports transparent acetate paper, other than mp210, which does not support transparents.

    Regards

You are printing on the rough side correct? Try switching the side of the paper that you are printing on and see if that helps at all. You should check your options and see if there may be an economical option or quick option and see if this helps put less ink on the paper. Please let me know how this works out for you.

Good luck

Paper pulls to the right, jams, won't print, tried different paper still won't print

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!

Hi,
Sounds like the feed rollers need cleaning.
Clean the feed rollers, lint free cloth, bottled water.
wait for them to properly dry

Revolve the feed roller bar as you clean them, to clean the feed rollers all the way round, remove all particles from them.

Check you ADF grips are set correctly, if not you will get mis-fed sheets. check the tray is sat properly too or mis-feeds.

Check paper size is correct in print properties too.
Should be good then
Try print.

Regards
Richard.

Color transparencies are dark & poor color

Hello,

Nice printer.. Hope this will give hints. Considering transparency papers, please try another batch of or a piece of transparency paper. Try to adjust also the graphics preferences (dark to light) aside from transparency paper selection. Have a nice day.
