Best thing to do is to remove battery and shake all the water out you can. Next, dunk it in a solution of rubbing alcohol or contact cleaner that will drive the water out of tight spaces, then place it in front of a fan in a warm spot (but not too hot) for about 2 hours or more. Then put it in a bag of rice which will literally pull water out of the phone.

Your backlight is probably shorted by now and will never light again. Sorry.

May be water poured into your screen two options one is that you put your cell in sun light for some hours and then turn on your cell or change your screen

Phone fell in water

If it's at the point where the screen isn't working properly, it's dead. If you have some kind of extended warranty, it may cover it, but there's no real way to bring it back from being water damaged, unfortunately.

My ipod fell into the toilet, what should I do?

Get your iPod in a bag of rice, and keep it there for maybe a few days, it should **** out all the moisture, hopefully it wasn't on when it was dropped in, but give it a shot.

My phone screen went blank after dropping in the toilet

You should have left it dry instead of turning it on, you probably have corrosion now, find a local place that works on phones to see if they'd work on it.

If you want to try to completely dry it, put it in rice for 24 hours minimum to draw out all moisture.

My g1 fell in the toilet and i just got a new one with my insurance yesterday cus the old one broke now this new one fell in the toilet i blowdried it for an hour but it still wont work please tell me some...

Stop putting the battery in and in fact take it out for a few days. You need silica gel packets or some other dessicant. Uncooked wric in a ziplock bag can also work but a stronger dessicant will work better.

Blow dryers are also bad as they can melt the glue on the circuit boards. So stop doing that.

I dropped my sidekick 2008 in the toilet

really the only thing to do in this case is to let it dry COMPLETELY before putting any power to it. if you let it dry completely now it may still work but if you tried it already and it failed i doubt it. try a new battery if it wont turn on. i dropped my nokia in the toilet and let it dry for 3 days then it worked; had a buddy spill his bottle of beer on my blackberry and after the defrost and over night it worked fine.... good luck

you should first take the phone and have the firmware reflash ....if that does not work then buy a main-board or replaced the phone.

Motorola h700 wont work...

well mine fell too, there is an inside trigger that turns on, off the headset when you unfold ,fold the boom.the trigger fell out when i dropped it.you can see the tiny hole near the boom under the headset where the trigger is or was,but is mostly viwable from the inside.so now your headset doesnt have a trigger to turn it on.i touched with a knife the metal inside button(the one tregger presses)and now its always on.sorry.
