Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
My nintendo ds lite got wet
If the system has been wet
take out the battery, and let the system sit for about a week some where dry
will have to purchase a new battery, you can do that from nintendo directly. if that does not work, then water damage would not be under nintendos manufact warranty, and you would be looking around 50 dollars to get a repair

I suggest you take it apart. You can get a special screwdriver for Nintedo ds, for about £2.50
Watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQlTpTLUyFQ
You have probably damaged the battery (Replacement £15.00)
If screens are damaged (top screen £6 bottom £15)
First ensure its dried inside and out.
try to acertain which parts are damaged and need replacing if you are lucky it may just go back together and work.
Come back to me if you need further advice on parts and dis/assembly.

Well there's a couple of things you can do. you can call nintendo or send the ds to nintendo with a low fee to repair it since you don't have warranty

If you take any under warranty equipment back to the supplier and they see it has been physically damaged by accidentally dropping or whatever, they will not repair it under the warranty. They will put a charge on it as it is not covered by the guarantee conditions.

Depends on how wet it got to be able to tell if it will still work properly. or if it isnt more than a a year you've had it and you managed to keep hold of the garantee you can get it fixed.

OK the buttons are probably dirty. I had this same problem with my DS. Pry open the outside edges of the buttons until there is a gap. Blow into the gap while making sure you dont spit in the console. This should clear out the dirt and make your buttons work.

look inside the slot 1 slot, you probably have damaged pins. In this case you will need a new cartridge slot.
