Question about Car Audio & Video
From what you describe, the red wire is definately power in to the unit ((+) hence the fuseable linkage). Blue is an odd color in electronics, so if its next to the red it is more than likely return voltage ((-) in DC circuits return voltage is grounded. Typically a head unit will have the wire diagram printed on a sticker placed on top or the back of the unit.
AND FOR THE BLACK CORD, thats for then fm antenna, there should be a cord that looks just like that one behind the unit, only the vehicle end is the male end.
