Sounds like your motor controller is faulty Does your machine light up any buttons or if you have the display model, does the LCD display turn on? Is you machine completely dead, no lights no sounds? If it is first check the power point with a toaster or hairdryer just to be 100% sure it is not the power point. Now the two things that cause the machine not to power up are --1-- the motor controller is faulty or the drain pump is faulty. If you have an electrical test meter or can borrow one I can guide you throe to isolate the faulty part. Please reply for further assistance .

Tripping GFCI

If the machine is tripping that outlet I would run a cord and try it on another outlet to see what happens. If it works fine then your outlet is going bad, If it trips the new outlet you're going to have a short somewhere in the machine, more than likely dealing with the motor and motor control board

Where is the reset button. Our washer won't go on. It has no power at all.Tried the circuit breaker..Machine was here when we bought the house

Thanks for choosing FixYa Karen and welcome. You can unplug the washer for 30 minutes and plug it back up to reset the washer. Make sure the outlet works. Next, check your power cord. Wigglle it while plugged in to see if the power comes on. Inspect the cord first for damage before you do that. If the outlet, breaker, and cord is good, you need to check the fuse to the washer. If it still has no power, you may have a bad control board. Due to the fact there is no power, it is probably electrical. Inspect all wires in the washer for damage. You may need a voltage meter to test for power in the cicuits.

May tag 5000. f35 what does that mean

"F35" means Analog Pressure Sensor Failure

If the washer does not accept inputs from the control panel, follow the Hard Reset steps below to reset the control:
Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
Press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
Start a short cycle, to check operation of the appliance, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the appliance starts.

Note: If the Hard Reset does not work, there may be an internal failure with the washer, that requires service.

Hope this helps.

The machine will not start. Is there a resart button

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You can unplug the washer for a few minutes to reset the washer. Meanwhile, you can check the following. If you have a washer that won't start, here are some probable causes to your problem. First, make sure to check your breaker box for a tripped breaker. If nothing is tripped, you will want to make sure the washer is getting power first. You need to check the wall outlet and the power cord. You can properly test both of them with a voltage meter to make sure they are getting correct power. Wiggle the cord and see if you can get it started. You could have a break or loose wire in the cord causing your washer to not start. If it starts, you still need to change out the power cord. If the outlet is not getting power, you will need to conduct a test on that to determine the cause. You may have a bad wire or a loose wire. If you have power to the outlet and cord, make sure your fuse has not blown. You need to check your timer switch next. It may be bad or not working properly. Refer to your manual for the correct procedure. Try the washer on different cycles to see if it will start. It is possible that you have a bad lid switch. It can cause the washer to not start if it is bad. You could have a defective motor as well. If the motor has not been working correctly or making noises and other sounds, there is a good chance it has finally died out. Always make sure that the part is getting power before you change it. A voltage meter is an ideal tool to keep around the house. If a part is not getting power, even with a new part, it will not work. Make sure you test everything before making a decision. Always determine the cause by testing and not guessing. Thanks for choosing FixYa and best wishes.

Water starts to spray from the bottom of my Bosch Aquatak 120i when i turn the water on. Is it still safe to use when this is happening

Electricity and water can be a hazard which could be life threatening, but you can operate electrical equipment in a wet environment if you are careful and follow safety precautions. Most import, make sure the electrical outlet you are using for the pressure washer has a working ground plug. Just because an outlet has three prongs does not mean the ground is working. You need to use an outlet tester which is inexpensive from a hardware store or use a multi meter to test the ground for conductivity to earth ground. Your power washer should have a working GFI (Ground fault interrupter), and you need to press the test button to make sure it is working. If your power washer does not have a GFI purchase one from a hardware store. I would also plug the power washer directly into the electrical outlet since an extension cord could have a bad ground connection and will cause the power washer to pull more current from the outlet. Make sure the power washer is raised of the ground so it will not sit in a pool of water. If you follow the safety precautions you should be safe but keep in mind water does not carry the electrical current, it is the impurities in the water which carry the current. Therefore, water could be more conductive depending on the impurity of water. However, it sounds like a loose connection in the power washer which could also be an o-ring or a washer is broken and it would b a good idea to have it fixed.

WON'T TURN ON. PLUGGED IN AND BREAKER IS ON.

Unplug the washer and get a short HD extension cord and plug in to another KNOWN good (has power) outlet. Or plug in a small appliance where the washer was plugged in and see if it works. Designated outlet for washer could be defective. Never work on electrical devices until you have the correct breaker switched OFF. Good luck, best regards.

HI CHECK THESE....
Step 1: Make sure the washer is receiving power. Check the cord, the plug, and the outlet. If a wall switch controls the outlet, make sure the switch is working. Look for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers at the main entrance panel. If the unit is receiving power and still won't run, press the reset button on the control panel (if the washer has one).

Step 3: Make sure that both water faucets are turned on and that the drain and soap-saver return hoses are properly extended, without kinks. If the washer has a water-saver button, make sure the button is depressed; water may not circulate through the filter nozzle if the basket is not full and the button is not depressed.
Step 4: To make sure the water is the proper temperature, check the temperature selector switches on the control panel to make sure they're properly set. Also check the water heater temperature control. It should be set no lower than 120 degrees F.
