Sorry if I am answering this 2x. If it is just A/C then the red and white probably go to the coil for the contactor that cuts on the fan and compressor. If it is a heat pump then they probably go to a circuit board. Red to R terminal and White to W1 terminal. Let me know what you find.

SOURCE: Our Bryant air conditioner that

Hi,

These symptoms usually indicate a problem with the drain. If the drain for the evaporator is restricted it may leak, if it leaks enough it will activate a float switch that turns off the air cooling unit.

The first thing you need to do is locate the evaporator, depending on where you live and what type of home you have it will be in the basement or the attic most likely. There will be a pan under the cooling coils, if in that pan there is water then your drain for the cooling coils is plugged. Look above that pan for another drain line that is the one you need to clean out.

In the pan that has the water you will find some type of float or water switch that is keeping the A/C from coming on.

Send me a message here if you have questions.

Code 33 - changed filter need to reset - how??????

Should reset by shutting off power to furnace and then back on With a Bryant if you turn power off and then on, if the thermostat is calling for heat when power is restored blower will run for couple minutes before trying to fire furnace. This is normal

Do bryant condensing units have a reset button? We can't get the unit to kick on. All power is correct and fan starts inside, but can't get condensing unit to kick on.

Most Bryant units do not have a reset button but could have a low pressure or high pressure switch for a safety to protect the compressor. Verify power from the thermostat to the contactor by following the thermostat wires all the way to contactor inside of electrical compartment... TURN POWER OFF BEFORE OPENING.... If power is to contactor and contactor is pulled in then you would need to look at the capacitor of which is a canister about 6 inshes tall with wire terminals on top.. this part should be flat on the top and if it is rounded then thats your problem.. if not then contact a local company to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs.

Heat pump Bryant model 541DJ024 Is there a reset switch. The fan comes on but no cold air coming out after power surge/outage 3 days ago.

their is sometimes a high psi switch that has a manual reset. it is red with a red rubber button. it is usualy lokated in th outdoor unit. in most areas it is code that their is a disconnect within 10 ft of the unit most of the time they have fuses in them. open the disconnect and their is a plastic sheild that needs removed sometimes.

Bryant A/C issue

IF it has one its usually but not always close to the 2 copper lines on the outdoor unit. BUT not all units have a high pressure reset. LOOK inside the outdoor section for a bare looking copper "wire", It will atach to the smaller copper line comming off thecompressor. If you dont see one it dosnt have one.
If you find it trace it down to the other end and usually has a piece simmlar to a battery sometimes no bigger than a golf ball and the button is usually pointed toward the outside on the other end.
2nd question as far as Im able to tell the fuses (and again it may not require fuses as long as it has a breaker or other means of protection) will be in a usually gr\ay box usually attached to the wall. Trace the wires comming into the unit back to the power source.  And generally the box you find on the wall ois where the fuses are. Now this box is only a disconnect and its reason for being is so hyou can remove power from the oudoor section and work on it sepperately. IT MAY NOT HAVE FUSES AND STILL BE APPROPERATE FOR YOUR TYPE OF INSTALLATION as ameans f disconnecting.
