Question about Car Audio & Video
Ok i have a 15in 1000w punch rockford fosgate sub hooked to my 1000w sony xplod. i wired it to 1ohm and it keptover heating and turning the led red. so i turned the gane down this worked for a day until it stopped working and i checked the fuses and they were melted. i then rewired it to 4ohms replaced the fuses and tried it. No sound came from the sub but the amp led was green and the amp itself was getting hot. then one of the fuses sparked and the amp turned completely off. what is going on?
Need repairs on the inside usually when u see that fuse melt something else probably melted on the inside. something is grounding out the amp on the inside . get it checked
