Hi just read your posting. Now what wash temperature have you selected for the wash ?Is it cold , warm, or hot?Does it start to fill at all for the wash cycle?I have the same model at home so I know the model well.If it fills and does not wash it could be the timer or the reversing module. please reply and I can guide you throe step by step to rectify this fault.By the way does it finish filling on wash and not start the motor at all?Hope this helps, awaiting on your response.

yes the machine fills, drains and spins but does not agitate. The controller is working and the timer seems to work- it progresses throught the cycles. where is the reversing module?

Hoover vhd sensor dry 59 minute programme not working

"Rapid W&D 59 Min.
When you only have a few items to wash and dry in a hurry, this 59 minute cycle is the ideal time saver! Suitable for a light 1,5 kg load size (e.g. 4 shirts) or slightly dirty fabrics, this cycle will wash, rinse, spin and dry your garments in under an hour.
We recommend that you reduce the detergent dosage when using this programme to avoid wastage".
If the other cycles work without issue, it in not faulty.
Check the wash weight.

The 'S' is for 'Spray' which happens at the beginning of the Spin Cycle...it then goes on to rinse etc.

Washing machine off balance in one cycle

Make sure washer is on a level surface and all four feet adjusted properly. A slight forward lean may help with this problem as the out of balance switch is at the rear.

We have a Hoover select 1500 washing machine. It still washes and rinses ok, but doesn't then move onto the spin cycle. But I can manually set the dial to spin and restart it. It then spins fine. I assume...

Could be but also could be rinse water valve not operating due to faulty solonoid. it does a final rinse / softner before spinning if valve faulty then no spin advance....

My hoover washing machine won't spray rinse or deep rinse on cold

Rinse cycles are normally with cold water only.

I believe you have a faulty cold water inlet valve. To confirm, put the machine on a cold only wash cycle, and see if it fill up with water.

If it does, then the valve is O.K. In that case the problem you are having with the rinse cycle is most likely a timmer fault.

Good Luck

Hoover elite 1210 won't progress to the final 'spray and spin dry cycle'.

Hoping to be of help after the spin dry wouldnt work on our hoover elite 1210.
It would do the wash cycle fine but as soon as it needed to drain, it wouldn't.
My handy man (Husband) is great at fixing things and opened the front panel by undoing the screws.
Near the motor on the bottom left, there is a wheel/fan looking thing.
(Turn the machine off first)
He tried to spin the wheel but it would only move clockwise and not anti-clockwise like it is supposed to.
So he gave the fan a few spins clockwise before giving it a gentle pull outwards in which it loosened the wheel and was able to move anticlockwise again.
We then turned the machine on and it started spinning and draining the machine.
This machine is a work horse and I refuse to get another. They don't make them like they used to!!
Mine has a leak and we use a drip tray underneath at the moment. So long as it works. I am happy.
Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
