Check your brakers/fuses. There might be a fused swich on the side of the furnace as well. Make sure that the furnace is getting power.

When you turn the A/C on does the elect. fan suppose to come on evenin cold weather and whitch temp. switch runs it?

Normally the ac fan (in front of the condenser) will run as soon as the ac is switched on. This condenser gets hot when the gas is being compressed and needs to have the heat removed for the system to work IT will switch on regardless of the ambient temperature as it is connected directly to the ac compressor clutch. IF you are referring to the heater fan inside then it will only work with the heater fan on or with both ac and heater on but will not always work with just the ac on.

I have bought a new toshiba A665 a week ago. I have a problem saying. ' A problem in the cooling system has been identified. Switch off ur computer and return it for service.' Cooling fan is working but...

At a week old, get a replacement or fix it right away. Fix should be free, but no computer during service.....

Toshibas run too hot, in my opinion.... so you have to keep after the fans and keep lint cleaned out of it....

Overheating will yield un stable system,

Im on my 2nd big buddy and both of them the fan has gone out, the first on went in a week, and this one last a couple of months.

fans
1. oil the bearings, sae 30 or wd40 for places you cant get into.
dont take fan motor apart unelse you realy have to.

dont let your fan motor bearings get worn egg shaped from lack of oil.
2. make sure fan blades not hitting or scraping fan housing and fan blades are securely fastened to fan motor shaft.

3.mr heater fan motor is 12 volts DC , so it may have a segmated comutator and brushes.

I dont know because i have not yet needed to take my mr heater
fan motor apart but i have worked on hundereds of ac fan motors
in the past 65 years.
4. keep fan motors from getting wet. they hate water.
5. keep fans clean, they dont like foriegn materials.

Your specific problem: first fan 2 weeks, second fan 2 months.

how much you use them, are you wearing the brushes down?
Getting fan motor wet? foreign material getting pulled into fan or fan motor? off/on switch work ok. batterys good, battery contacts ok? fan transformer 110 vac to 12 vdc good? fan bearings oiled?
need more info to diagnose properly.
all of the above needs to be checked out to tell whats happened.
fan & fan motor needs to be inspected.

2008 CX-9 when I shut off the engine, the heater/AC Fan keeps running. It seems that when i change the battery in my remote entry thing, the problem goes away for a while, but return days or weeks later. ...

Common issue. Replace two relays (one for front, one for rear) in the fusebox in the engine compartment and guarantee the blower will turn off properly.

Fan motor will not come on

That thing connected to the capacitor is a booster for the compressor .But if the outside fan doesn't work , the compressor will shutt off on overload because the high pressure in the condenser coil.
First try to replace the capacitor in the condensing unit (it's the only one that works for the compressor and the fan motor) ,but if the fan doesn't start, you need to replace the fan motor.

Jeez, talk about no luck! OK, I'm assuming that the leak test showed no leaks, so that's a plus. Now, when you say it's not working again, do you mean that the system isn't blowing cold anymore, or that the fan that was installed no longer works? I'm pretty sure you mean the air isn't cold anymore, but it doesn't hurt to make sure:)

OK, so if the fan isn't the cure (since it's working), and you had a recharge done, which worked temporarily, I'm wondering about two possibilites - one, that the expansion valve isn't working (this is what allows the freon to actually cool - it releases the pressure from the compressor, allowing the freon to expand. When it does that, it cools). That could be one solution.

The other, unfortunately, is the heater core. If your system routes through there, and you have a problem with it, it could create the problem with the AC. I don't know how Saab does their AC system though, so I don't know if your heater core is an integral part of the system.

An idea - my Audi has two fan switches for the AC condenser fan - a low speed switch and a high speed switch. If your car has that too, and only one switch is functional, it could be that you're not getting the full AC effect. That would be worth checking into.

I'm in Binghamton, NY, the best part of four hours from you.
