This is most likely the normal/recirculate control (same as your car, they call it normal or max, only difference being max recirculates the inside air (80% use to be the amount). I would think "closed air" would be recirculating the room air, since it has already been cooled and dried once it is less load and better cooling performance.
No dripping, they could be using the condensate to assist in cooling the condenser but you give no indication of how old your unit is.

The outside setting is for bringing in the out side air,the closed keeps the air from the ac circulating and closes outside air off.The unit needs to be remove and took out side and cleaned out with a water hose, dirt and debris is keeping it from dripping out side,

I have a frigidaire fac105p1a that is spiting water out though the vents what do i do about that?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you have water spitting out of the top vent on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC105P1A. I also see that it sounds like water is gurgling through the pipes and you want to know how to fix it. If your air conditioner is also leaking outside, this is normal during excessively humid days, due to it removing large quantities of moisture from a humid room. If it is also dripping inside, I suggest slightly tilting your air conditioner to the outside, to allow water drainage. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Does the Frigidaire FAH106S1T Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner recycle inside air or pull in air from outside? Also, how do I close the vent on this model?

yes it does recycle the inside air - it 'does not' pull outside air in (in the air conditioning mode).
The 'exhaust/outside air' vent - 'if it has one' (some don't these days) will usually be a manual pull/push lever, although I guess it might be a electrical/electronic switch.
hope this has helped.

Why does the air conditioner leak water from behind the unit. My air conditioner is placed in a wall and the back end of the conditioning unit sticks out inside the garage. I have ventilation by...

It is normal for an air conditioner to leak water out the back. This water is actually the humidity being taken out of your house. Being vented out in to the garage is always an issue with condensate water. I have seen some people take a funnel and run a hose outside the garage somewhere. Keep the vent closed. It will be harder to cool the house with the vent open because it lets outside air in to the house.

We have a GE model aeh08fmg1 window air conditioner that is leaking water inside our house.

I presume its a refrigerated air conditioner ?? Not an evaporative type. All refrigerated airconds have an internal drain which collects the moisture buildup off the evaporator coil. This drain will have a hose which runs through the wall to the outside. Have a look outside where all the aircon pipes come out. This hose could be blocked by dirt or a mouse may have chewed a hole in it. Try blowing air up the hose to clear it.

Water is leaking out the front of the unit

Water is a normal byproduct of the refrigeration process, Just like a glass of icewater has condensation on the outside of the glass.

The unit is designed to run the water outside. Check the slant of the unit, if it slants inside water will not exit outside..needs slight downward tip towards the outside.

Also check that the drain system is not plugged.

This is normal when compressor starts u can hear some gurgling from evap. from feron flowing. If you hear gurgling only when you close the door it's water in drain pan when you close the door air is forced down drain tube blowing air into water.

Fan sprays water. water gurgling sound

Drainage is plugged on the air conditioner and backing up into the fan housing. Try tipping it to the outside a little to give it more drain flow toward the outside. If the back of the A/C is higher then the front you can have this problem.
