Go to START - CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM - SYSTEM RESTORE "Turn off system restore" must be unchecked. Click Apply, click Ok.

Than you can go to Accessories, System tools, System restore and select create a restore point. System will normally make restore points by itself.

My parents just gave me this computer. I dont have any discs with it can I restore it to factory settings with out cd and how

If you can start up the computer and use it then you can create your own boot disc. It can be hard if you don't know what your doing. Another option is to go buy a new hard drive and windows xp. (Note from the specs you have given, Vista wont work on this computer as Vista needs min 1GB Ram to operate).
Check this site for info: http://freepctech.com/pc/002/files010.shtml Hope it helps.

Systems restore wont work tried it bothh ways. keeps comming up for tod ay. would like to restore it for 5 days ago please help

You should not rely on system restore points. They are very very unreliable. I suggest you restore from a backup. If you dont have a backup hopefully you can turn this into a positive experience and start making one.

Rebooting windows vista back to when i first got without a disc

You might try system restore option and restore it to a date you know it worked well
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.
On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.

Figure 2
4.
On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.
Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.
The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

After reviewing the stability of your system, you can choose another restore point or undo this restoration. Just open System Restore and make the appropriate choice. After you use System Restore, you'll have an additional task, Undo my last restoration, on the System Restore Welcome page. Remember that you'll have to reinstall any programs that were installed after the restore point.
If System Restore doesn't work in Normal Mode, it might work in Safe Mode. To use System Restore in Safe Mode, press the F8 key during reboot and choose Safe Mode. When your computer starts in either Safe Mode or Normal Mode, System Restore can be used to capture a working previous state. System Restore can't be opened unless the system is bootable into one of these modes.

Computer freezes when using mouse within MS Outlook (mainly) or while on internet.

This is possible caused by services (could be from viruses/spyware, recently-installed software or an old corrupted file for a program) running in the background.

Run a virus scan. Download this software if you dont have an antivirus software.
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

If it doesnt find anything. Restore your computer to a date when it was working fine using system restore.

Through the All Programs menu:
1.
Click Start.
2.
Point to All Programs.
3.
Point to Accessories.
4.
Point to System Tools.
5.
Click System Restore.
6.
Follow the instructions on the wizard.

If nogo, disable your startup items. This will disable unnecessary startup items from starting and up and running in the bakcground when you dont need them. It doesnt change anything. It just lets you open any program only when you want to.
1. Go to start>run. Type msconfig and hit ok. Click on the startup tab which is on top of the window. Click disable all. if you are using an antivirus and wireless internet. Look for items that has something to do with your antivirus and that has the word 'wireless' in it and check them.
2. Click apply, close and restart.

Hope this works.

Pls dont forget to rate. Thanks!

Dear reader; I bought hunting unlimited 2008, its been playing fine, today I went to play it and I can't seem to get it playing

You may restore you system to a previous date. Choose the date when it was working fine. Just go back a day or 2.

Steps
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System restore>Restore to Earlier date.

When you restore to a particular date. the softwares loaded after that particular date wont be there. So be careful and dont go too far back.

Hope this will help

Regards
Sammy
