Question about Harley Davidson Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Desktop Telephone

Riding along on the highway all of a sudden it looses power, sometimes it is for seconds other times it is much longer. It drops down to 80 and no matter what I do it won't go any faster, it sounds and feels like it is running on 1 cylinder. I have had it to an HD shop and they can't find anything.

This happened to me. I would be haulin a$$ and lose power, this was caused by my fuel vapor tube in the fuel tank, two different times this happened, first time it happened some how the tube was restricted / had blockage inside and the system could not breath the other time my fuel cap went bad

Power and Instrument problems

I have worked on a few of these over the years and have found two problems that solve this problem, the first is a bad cluster and the second would be a bad connectionat the under the hood fuse box, there is a small battery cable that goes from the battery to this box, if you look behind the battery you will see the fuse box, check the connection of this cable at the box, make sure it is clean and tight and then check it at battery also.

Oil gauge goes to 80psi while I'm driving 70mph on highway, drops when I slow down. Why?

They are designed to change as the motor changes speed. If you have 80 lbs. of oil pressure than you have very good oil pressure in your engine. If it gets higher than 80, I would talk to service dept. at your local dealer.

Riding along the road engine slowly came to a stop. wouldn't start again flat battery RAC man charged the battery bike started got a mile or so down the road we did this three time got home with out it...

I think you could have an intermitant open circuit inside your battery. One of the links joining the cells is loose and makes contact sometimes and not other times. Replacing the battery could fix the problem. There appears to be notthing amiss in your charging system.

Open up the computer and see if there is any dust clogging the fans or heatsinks. Also try running the computer with the case open and see if it stays powered up longer.
