Pull the plgu of your headset partially from the jack play around it until the other headphone produces sound if this happens it mieans that the Audio port your using is either malfunctioning or you can try youy headset with an MP3 player or any audio device that uses a headset to find out if it is the headset that is damaged

sounds as if you have a short in the left ear. solution would be to send in to manufacture. Or return to the store.

When I plug my headphones into my iPod, there is no sound, unless I jiggle the cord around and do not plug them all the way in. They worked fine at the beginning, but do not work now.

I'm not certain it's not the I-Pod socket or the headphone jack that is playing up? If you can get another pair of headphones (a friends etc) and put them in the socket of the I-Pod, to test it that should clear it up. For if they don't work you know it's the I-Pod socket that's faulty.
If it's the Bose jack that's gone, you better see my tip on dodgy cable/plugs on headphones. You should be able to replace it with the 3.5mm type shown, but I think you can get the thinner type jacks.

The bose emblem came off onthe left headset that was holding the left ear set on the inside pcs loos fine but the emblem side is broken. Is there a space emblem with the female part for sale?

Difficultt ot get one except from Bose Corp. I suppose you could have used a instant super glue to past this up. if the earpieces are working fine why not try to do it carrefully as you mentioned it has come off, it can be wedged together with an instant glue. clean the surface and do the process. It should work out economical. I hope it works and looks fine. Good day

The sound coming from my right bose on-ear headphones

i think ur headphone wires or its pin at end will be defective..
99%there is no chance of failures in speakers ..
try to replace ur headphone cable with new cable.
just solder the cable with speaker inline pins..

I have had the bose in-ear headphones for a year and they were great at first and then all of a sudden the left earpiece stops working. If I move the part that connects the headphones to the ipod then it...

If your headphones are in warranty (under a year old) Bose will repair or more likely replace them with a new pair. I am now on my forth pair or Bose in-ear headphones and experienced the same problem with an ear piece stop working. I have to say Bose customer service has been fantastic and has replaced each pair. Every new pair is then covered by a new full years warranty. Unfortunately my fourth pair has just gone wrong with the same connector problem. Bose again have said they will replace as they are in warranty. I have been told if they are out of warranty they will offer a new pair at a discount price of £50 instead of £80. However i think that if my new pair go wrong out of warranty i will have no option but to look at alternatives.A Pair of headphones that cost £80 should last more than a year!!!

Its likely a broken wire. You can take them apart if you are careful and re solder the wire if you have the tools and are ok with doing that. its a little tricky. if you need more help email me. n_raven99(at)hotmail.com
