Upper hose hot lower hose cold has good heat in car not overheating runs fine just lower hose not hot even after tstat opens

The lower hose shouldn't be as hot as the top. If your not having overheat problems I wouldn't worry about it. If the radiator was clogged, it would overheat.

Why is my car overheating?

Sounds like a stuck closed thermostat. It is usually where the top hose connects to the engine block.

Keeps overheating plug

Plug will only overheat if you have a loose connection of some type.
Check the connections in the plug - the wires must be tightly connected to the pins and must not be screwed down onto the cable insulation. Check the fuse carrier in the plug - make sure it holds both ends of the fuse securely. Also check the fuse carrier components are securely fixed (usually with a screw or a rivet) to the pins of the plug.
If it still overheats the bad connection could be due to a bad wiring connection to the socket it is plugged into or even a bad component within the socket itself. Components in the socket are not repairable - Replace with new.

Kia spectra 2000, what causes over heating?

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Few things why the car overheats, here are the following:

- Weak radiator blower motor
- Clogged radiator
- Cracked head or head gasket
- Faulty water pump (coolant will not circulate if it's faulty)
- Worn out radiator hoses
- Coolant reservoir overfill (coolant overflows)

You will need to have them replaced to resolve the problem. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

The sheetrock around the exhaust vent gets wet when running my Kenmore dryer. what causes this and what is required to fix it? The exhaust vent is located at the bottom of the dryer and goes through the...

This is steam moisture from the drying of your clothes. Check for a loose fit with your drier hose and the vent connection. You can try a refrigeration tape if needed. Also you can cover the hose with insulation, look for a metal film type.

The Newair acp 1400h puts out a lot of heat and the manual says not to extend the exhaust hose. Is there any way to extend the hose so that I can exhaust where I want to?

The longer hose will increase the heat in the room and that is why they recommend the short hose…addition to that it may overheat…if you are going to extend the hose you must use one as the dryer hose that insulated and fire proof…let me know if that help
Please do not forget to rate my service for the site to continue helping everyone and improve on it.
