I bought a repair manual from Clymer and found the belt sizes for my Atlas 12.5022 tiller. The manual lists a 1/2 inch by by 36 inch forward belt and 1/2 inch by 32 inch reverse belt for the model 12-5100. Good luck. Don't bother to buy the Clyme manual. It isn't very complete.

On the old Gardenways Horse the serial number is stamped into the top of a little flange on the side of the transmission just to the right (viewed from behind) of where the handles attach. It may be covered in gunk so a douse of mineral spirits and a little scraping will reveal it.
You can download the manual and parts list from the Troybuilt site. Enter "HORSE" for the model and the serial number.

SOURCE: I have a troy bilt
This is NOT a solution but the reversing belt is usually installed with a 1/2 twist. If you do not have the 1/2 twist it will not back up. Feel free to seek other experts. Just had to try and get you this information ASAP.
