Question about Sony VAIO VGC-LV180J 24-Inch All-in-One PC
I don't know if this is the solution you're looking for but if it's less than a year old I would say call sony and get a replacement drive. They may even be required to have a year hardware warranty (but don't quote me on that). That would actually be much faster/easier than searching the internet for a firmware fix that may or may not exist or help at all.
