Question about Brother CS-100-T Computerized Sewing Machine
I have a Brother CE-4000 model. In the middle of sewing, the machine jammed and the fabric and thread all got caught in the bobbin. The bobbin case was shifted so I took the machine apart, and now, I could not put the bobbin case back in place. It moves with the mechanism, and hence the needle would strike the casing. Can you tell me what went wrong?
When you put back in the bobbin case, there is a little "knub" that sticks out with a flat spot on the right (on the top side of it) that you need to ensure it rests gently to the left of the position finger bracket (silver metal piece, in the square of the bobbin case area its on the right closest to you).
When you put in initially, it was probably twisted clockwise and there was a gap between the knub and the position finger bracket and when you put the needle plate on in jams that bobbin case in that position and the needle just takes chunks out of it..
You might need a new bobbin case, try sanding out the needle marks with sandpaper.
