Question about Ovens
I recently attempted to clean the outside of my oven and left the chemical I was using on to long. Now I have fade bloches on certain areas of the stove. Can I paint a stove? If so,with what? Please help - thanks
THE SIDE PANELS ARE A BASIC PAINT LIKE YOU FIND ON AUTOMOBILES, BUT MOST OF THE COOKTOP AND SOME BACKSPLASHES ARE MADE OF PORCELAIN. IF YOU ARE GOING TO PAINT THE SIDE PANELS, BE SURE TO STRIP ALL OF THE KITCHEN GREASE OFF THE PANEL SURFACES. BEST TO USE AMMONIA WATER TO CUT THE GREASE.
IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO PAINT THE COOKTOP OR BACKSPLASH AREAS.
