Run some CLR, Lime Away, products that removes cdeposits that constrict water flow. Make sure you rinse plenty, to remove any tracr of the product. You can buy these at most super markets, hardware stores.

I had the same problem with a regular coffee pot. The problem was a large piece of coffee ground that was lodged in the water tube check-valve going to the element. This prevented water from getting to the element quickly enough, and what water did get there mostly turned to steam. We had to remove/replace the tube.
The pipes are blocked with build up scale or water dirt. You can try to descale the machine by adding in the water half cup of lemon juice and brew it without coffee leave if for 20 min and the clean it by brew it with fresh water these will make a diference then try this again in a week.
I had the same problem with my Mr Coffee ISX23. I took it apart and found a little chunk of something was stuck in an in-line check valve from the fresh water reservoir to the heater thingee. After disconnnecting the hose from both ends it slid out of the hose I pulled the little black (maybe rubber) thing out and reassembled it. Works great. Be sure to replace the check valve oriented the right way. I tested this by blowing on it.
Most coffee makers use a small check-valve in the feed line to the coffee basket and if a small particle gets trapped in it, the pumping action becomes erratic or very slow.
To be sure any lime deposits are dissolved, use < 1 cup of Lime Away or similar product such as CLR.
Make sure there is no water left in the reservoir and pour the product into it.
With no coffee in the basket and the pot in place, turn on the machine and watch for the first drops into the pot, then turn off the machine again.
Let it stand for a couple of hours (I'd recommend against leaving it overnight) and then turn it back on to let it finish pumping the reservoir empty.
Check the sediment in the bottom of the pot and if you see any 'crud' such as particles of lime or even a granule of coffee, you may have solved the problem.
If that seems to be the case, flush the machine with a tablespoon of baking soda and then clear water.

Be careful! The top will soon disconnect from the bottom! I've had the same problem for the last few months. This morning (11/19/10) the top of the pot seperated when I poured a cup of coffee and half a pot of piping hot coffee spilled down my right leg. I'm on hold with their customer service department as I type this. Has anybody else had the same issue?
By pressing the button for "stronger" coffee, it slows down the rate at which the water enters the grounds. This allows the water to set in the grounds longer and therefore can make the coffee a bit stronger.
This is why on some pots when there is a 4 cup setting used, it takes longer for the coffee to be made. With such a small amount of coffee, it should go thru more slowly to get the same result.
Make a 1/2 pot 50/50 mixture of cold water and white vinegar then run it through the machine in normal brewing fashion. Place a clean filter in the brewing cup to catch the white deposits that are removed. Allow the mixture to cool, then repeat the process several times while using the same filter. Finally, run several pots of fresh water through to work out the taste of the vinegar. Repeat whenever the brewing time seems to be excessive.
have you tried cleaning it? Minerals from the water build up inside the tubing and make it run slow. Take a pot full of white vinegar and run it through a brew cycle. follow this by a couple of pots of cold water and you should be good to go.
If you have hard water, minerals may have built up in the unit, slowing down the flow. You should be able to find some sort of mineral-dissolving treatment for it at your local grocery or hardware store.
Make sure to run a few pots of plain water when you are done, to get any residue out!
