Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Try booting in SAFE MODE. To do it, while starting windows, press F8 and you will be prompted for boot options. Choose SAFE MODE and login as an administrator.
In safe mode, you can uninstall some program especially the newly installed ones which might caused your system to freeze.
Restart after every changes that you make and see if it helps. Also, dont forget to make a restore point at every critical thing you do.
